Do you offer tours of monuments or museums that aren’t on your website?
Yes! As a licensed Florence tour guide, I am qualified to guide you through any of the city’s museums or monuments and am confident in my knowledge of this city’s history and culture. Feel free to contact me with any particular requests or interests and I would be happy to design a custom tour for you. In the event that I am unavailable to tour with you for any reason, I will gladly refer you to a colleague.

What should I wear for the tour?
While summers in Florence are very warm and winters are typically mild, the weather can be rather unpredictable so it’s a good idea to check the forecast before your tour. You should also keep in mind that you will be expected to cover shoulders and knees if you plan to enter churches.

What should I bring on the tour?
It’s best to travel as light as possible if you are planning on entering museums, since they often require you to pass through a metal detector and large bags/backpacks will usually need to be checked. Keep in mind that while summers in Florence are generally warm and dry, it can be rainy in spring and fall so it is a good idea to bring an umbrella if you have scheduled a walking tour during those months.

What if it rains?
I’ll be ready to tour with you rain or shine! Florence is one of those cities that seems even more elegant and beautiful in the rain, so don’t let the weather get you down.

What if I need to cancel a tour?
Please notify me as soon as possible if you will be unable to attend your scheduled tour. While I understand that emergencies happen, I ask that you ideally give me at least 24 hours notice of cancellations so that I can make arrangements if you can’t make it!

How can I pay for the tour?
Like most licensed guides in Florence, I charge an hourly rate for my tours. I can accept payment in cash after we have finished our tour, but please keep in mind that I do require payment in euro.
